Age Eligibility and Date of Birth Range

To be eligible for AMU Class 1 Admission, the applicant must:

  • Be between 6 to 8 years of age as on 31st March of the year of admission.
  • For 2025: Date of birth should fall between 01 April 2017 to 31 March 2019 (both dates inclusive).


Admission Process: Draw of Lots

Unlike Classes 6 and 9, admission to Class 1 is based on a Draw of Lots system.

  • There is no written test or interview.
  • The process is completely random and fair.
  • Schedule for draw will be announced later.

  • Hostel is not available for Class 1 students in any AMU school.
